Montiget is a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA). It is primarily used for the long-term prevention and chronic treatment of asthma and the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing and a runny or stuffy nose. The 5mg strength is a common pediatric dose but is also used for adults with specific sensitivity or as directed by a physician.
